Customer: National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR), Romania

Scope: Design, delivery, installation and commissioning of a complete ITS infrastructure for Section 4 of the Craiova–Pitești Expressway

Goal: Deliver a cutting-edge, real-time traffic monitoring and management system that enhances road safety, maximizes traffic flow efficiency and supports scalable future expansion along a vital national transport corridor

IESYS solution

The ITS ensures real-time traffic monitoring, incident detection and enforcement along Section 4 of the expressway. IESYS delivered a turnkey solution including ANPR-based vehicle identification, Weigh-In-Motion for freight, CCTV with Automatic Incident Detection, Variable Message Signs, meteorological sensors, centralized SCADA control and secure communication subsystems.
