Transformation is not about image, but about meaning
Interview with Andrei Iacobiță, CEO IESYS
In a period in which IESYS is redefining its direction and strengthening its organizational identity, the company’s leaders play an essential role in articulating the meaning of this transformation. Because transformation doesn’t start from the outside — it starts from within, with people who have the courage to ask the right questions and clarify what unites them.
In this mini-interview, Andrei Iacobiță, CEO of IESYS, talks about the significance of the process the company is going through, why the current moment is a defining one, and how progress is truly built: through clarity, coherence, and the responsibility each team member assumes.
A sincere and necessary perspective at a time when IESYS is stepping into a stage of maturity and shared vision.
How would you define, in a few words, this transformation from a leadership perspective?
For me, this transformation meant a recap of our journey, a synthesis of our core values and, above all, a clarification of the purpose for which we work together every day.
It wasn’t a process about image, but about meaning. We wanted to better understand what unites us, why we do what we do, and how we can translate that more clearly into everything we build.
Why was it important for IESYS to start this process now?
Our team was at a moment of maturity — efficient, stable, but perhaps also a little lacking the enthusiasm of the early days.
The rebranding process came as an opportunity to regain our energy and to reorganize things on a solid foundation.
We gained two essential things: a redefining of our values and shared purpose, and a company image that reflects exactly who we are today — a mature, high-performing organization, aware of its role in the industry.
What does “From Challenge to Progress” mean to you personally?
It reflects our way of thinking and working.
We are a team that takes on highly complex topics, that correctly evaluates both the challenges of projects and its own capabilities.
We define ourselves through endurance and the desire to create functional, useful, and reliable systems.
“From Challenge to Progress” means, for us, professional maturity and the courage to turn difficulties into real solutions.
What is the most important message you want to convey to the team during this stage?
I want every colleague to be proud to be part of the IESYS team.
To feel that what we are building now is a foundation for the future and that every contribution matters. Everything we are about to achieve will be the result of a united, courageous, and resilient team — a team that looks forward with confidence.
In closing – a thought about the direction in which IESYS is heading
Transformation is not a final point, but a journey.
We have clarified our values, we have redefined our identity, and now the most important stage follows: to live them every day, through what we do.
I believe this is the true meaning of progress — consistency in action and trust in people.
The transformation of IESYS is not an image exercise, but a continuous process of alignment, evolution, and ownership. And this interview highlights the essence of this stage: real progress does not come from a graphic change or an internal message, but from the way the team lives the values and direction they have established together.
Because true transformation begins with people. And continues through what we build together.
