Customer: Saudi Arabia Railway Company – Riyadh

Scope: Implementation of the Personnel Protection System to safely manage the movement of passenger trains through the maintenance workshop.

Goal: Safely control train movements through Riyadh workshop, preventing collisions with other trains, staff or infrastructure, while providing centralized monitoring, supervised movement and auditing.

IESYS solution

The DPS system safely manages train movements through the Riyadh maintenance workshop, covering four monitored tracks. IESYS delivered a fully integrated solution including SCADA-based centralized monitoring, multi-level train movement authorization, RFID car identification, access gates, traffic lights, ESD emergency stops and CCTV monitoring.
