Customer: National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR), Romania

Scope: Design, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the full ITS infrastructure for Lot 4 of the A0 South Bucharest Ring Motorway, 

Goal: Implement an integrated traffic management and control system to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable traffic flows on one of Romania’s most critical bypass corridors, reducing congestion in Bucharest and enabling smooth transit for both local and international freight routes.

IESYS solution

The ITS provides real-time traffic monitoring, dynamic freight weighing and adaptive traffic management on the A0 South Bucharest Ring Motorway. IESYS delivered a full solution including vehicle counting and classification, meteorological monitoring, Weigh-In-Motion, secure roadside equipment clusters and robust infrastructure protection.
