Project overview
Customer: SAHPROD METEOR (Ploiesti, Romania)
Scope: Design, engineering, upgrade, automation and integration of multiple production lines and robotic modules for palletizing, depalletizing, lid application, quality control and product transfer (cans, jars, promotional packs). The project included conveyor belt extensions, sterilizer modernization and implementation of vision systems for precise labeling and positioning.
Goal: Increase productivity by over 40% through workflow automation, reduce operational costs and improve working conditions for employees, while ensuring compliance with food quality and safety standards.
IESYS solution
IESYS upgraded and automated multiple production lines, including palletizing, depalletizing, lid application, quality control and product transfer for cans, jars and promotional packs. The solution integrated KUKA robots, vision systems, conveyors and PLC/HMI controls, increasing productivity, reducing manual handling and ensuring full compliance with food quality and safety standards.
